How do you take care of a string of nickels?
It's advisable to keep a string of nickels plant evenly moist, but avoid overwatering. It's also recommended to annually repot string of nickels. Care should be taken to use a light potting medium, such as orchid mix or shredded bark, and not standard potting soil.
Why is my string of nickels dying?
If the potting mix breaks down, whether you are using coco husk chips or an orchid potting mix, the roots will not receive the oxygen that they need (being epiphytes) and your plant will die.
How often do you water a nickel string?
